Oct 16 Day at Barton Hill Farms

Hey there pumpkin,

Fall is officially among us and I just love everything about it. The autumn leaves, the cool breeze and of course the pumpkin patch! My son looks forward to going every year and since this was our first time experiencing in Texas we really didn’t know what to expect. But I’ll tell ya, Texans do Pumpkin Patch right!

We went to Barton Hill Farms and it blew me away. There was a ton of activities for kids of all ages, a ridiculous amount of grassed area for them to just run wild and free! An area for the pumpkin patch with a ton of photo ops and a variety of pumpkins to choose from. Everything was spread out on a large land and although we visited on a weekend, it was packed but never felt crowded.

The entrance fee is $15.95 at the gate or $13.95 online, this price includes everything in the premises except the fishing pond, face painting, any pumpkins you choose to take home, mums and food/beverage. To see a full detail of activities offered click here.

There is no restriction to bringing your own food and snacks or non-alcoholic beverage, however cooler/cooler bags are prohibited. We ate at the Colorado Grill where they served burgers and hot dogs (price ranging from $8-14 for food) and pizza ($15 for 16’ pie).
