I am always on a hunt for makeup products that last all day! It's always been a real issue finding a long wearing lipstick, they usually don't work for me and nothing irritates me more than when they start to crumble on my lips. When I tried my first liquid lipstick, I must confess I had false hopes, but when I had to come home and actually use makeup remover to get it off, I knew I had found the next best thing since sliced bread! Ever since, it has been my ultimate obsession and I compulsively want to try every brand I come across. So I wanted to share my top 5 favorites.
1. Anastasia Beverly Hills - The first brand I ever tried, so I have a little attachment to them (LOL). My favorite shades of all time has to be Pure Hollywood and Bloodline, the perfect nude and perfect red.
2. Stila Cosmetics - This has to be my ultimate favorite brand for liquid lipsticks, I love how they wear, how long they stay and there is a large selection of colors that truly make it hard to pick just one!
3. Tarte - On a sporadic trip to Ulta, I tried this lippie, the color Fly, I just couldn't walk away from it! However, a little retouching midday is necessary to make the color pop even more. #ThisShadeThough
4. Kat Von D - You already know Kat Von D is all about making things last forever! My favorite shade hands down Lolita!
5. Milani - The best of both worlds, great wearability and doesn't break the bank. Now, it's not as long wearing as the other three, but it also doesn't crumble on your lips right after taking a bite of food, you just might need to retouch. I love the texture and the beautiful shades they carry! I particularly like mixing shades #10 & #11 for a beautiful blush tone.
